Questions about our rates
How do you set the price of a translation?
Four parameters come into play: the language pair, the field, the volume and the deadline. Standard translations are charged per word of the source text, sworn translations per started page of 250 words. What the translation memory finds from an earlier file of yours is not charged again at full rate.
Is the quote really free?
Yes, free and with no commitment. Send the document through the form and a firm price comes back within 1 working hour. A sharp phone photo is enough for us to price it, there is no need to scan.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer. The details are sent as soon as you accept the quote and the work starts on receipt. Companies, public authorities and firms that order regularly can request monthly invoicing.
Can anything be added after the quote?
No. The amount on the quote is firm, all taxes included: translation, revision and delivery. The only two possible surcharges, urgency and legalisation of the signature, appear on the quote before you approve it. The applicable tax regime appears in our terms and conditions.
Does the express service run at weekends too?
Yes, seven days a week, public holidays included. A sworn translation can in most cases be delivered in 24 hours: the signed PDF goes out by e-mail and the stamped original goes out by registered mail the same day. The surcharge is shown on the quote before you approve it: +50 % for 24 h, +75 % for 12 h, +100 % for 6 h.
Will I receive an invoice for my accounts?
Yes, an itemised invoice by e-mail for every assignment, with a description of the service, the file reference and the legal wording your accountant expects.
