Do safety data sheets follow a set format?
Yes, the sixteen sections required by the REACH regulation. Hazard and precautionary statements have a standardised wording in each language: they are reused as they are and never translated freely. We work from those official strings.
Can an interpreter run a safety induction?
Yes, in liaison mode: the operator asks questions and the trainer checks what has actually been understood. For workers who are not comfortable reading, that works markedly better than a translated instruction handed out on paper.
